The following is a comprehensive list of the conditions we can treat using chiropractic care.

Whiplash and Other Auto Accident Injuries

Auto accidents can cause a range of different injuries related to the trauma of the collision. Whiplash is one of the most common, occurring after you are thrown forward against the seatbelt and then back again. Chiropractic care can help to bring relief to subluxations and misalignments following a car accident.

Back and Neck Pain

Back and neck pain are usually caused by stress on the muscles, tendons or tissues around the spine. A bulging or herniated disc can lead to a pinched nerve, which results in back or neck pain. Chiropractic adjustment often brings rapid relief.

Bulging and Herniated Discs

Issues with the spinal discs can have a range of causes, from overuse injury to a sudden, acute sports injury. A herniated disc (ruptured disc) is a more severe form of a bulging disc. When a disc becomes herniated, the inner soft portion of the spongy disc can leak out and put pressure on one or more of the spinal nerves. This can lead to back or neck pain until the disc issue is resolved.

Degenerative Disc Disease

Degenerative disc disease refers to a chronic issue with the spinal discs including resultant pain, inflammation, irritation and pinched nerves. It is most prevalent in older individuals and persons at risk for overuse injury due to a highly physical job or active participation in a sport.

Sciatica

Sciatica is caused by a pinched nerve in the lower back. The effects of the pinched nerve radiate to one leg and cause tingling and/or numbness in the affected limb. Chiropractic care relieves pressure on the nerve and helps restore comfort and normal functioning.

Headaches and Migraines

Chronic headaches and migraines can have a range of causes, but they are often caused by subluxation of the spine. The nervous system is complex, and a disruption in one area can result in side effects that include headaches and migraines. Chiropractic adjustment often brings relief when nothing else will.

Carpal Tunnel

Carpal tunnel is caused by a pinched nerve in the wrist. This causes tingling and/or numbness in the area, which can in turn progress up the arm and lead to weakness and loss of control of the arm and hand.

Tendinitis

The straining or overuse of a joint can cause the tendons to become stretched and irritated. Depending upon the location of tendinitis, the injury can be referred to as tennis or golfer’s elbow, runner’s knee, swimmer’s or pitcher’s shoulder.

Knee Issues

Knee pain and problems can range from an occasional twinge to continual throbbing pain. Chiropractic care can assist in relieving pain and resolving knee issues.

Plantar Fasciitis and Foot Issues

Plantar fasciitis is caused by stress on the plantar fascia, which is the connective tissue running from the heel to the toes. The pain manifests as a sharp stabbing sensation in the foot. Other foot issues can result from inflammation of the soft tissues, but these problems can be assisted with chiropractic care.
